So you think you have what it takes to start a business on the side?
After thinking about how much time you have available to start a business, its a pretty good idea to get your head around what you are going to do. Start this process by considering:
- what do you love to do?
- what would you do for free?
Next, ask yourself what challenges or problems other people encounter in these areas. Solving problems is what business is all about and it will help you both identify your product and your potential target market.
Its also a great idea to look at who else is already doing what you would like to do. Remembering that a 'me too' business may not be better than 'brand new' one... but it certainly is EASIER!
